So fine, enjoy Idle Champions in all its glorious brokenness. Not that they made a broken boss fight, but that they KNEW from our feedback that it was broken, and, using that feedback, made changes so that it would be even more broken. Just to reiterate, my big problem is with "the developers" themselves. You might as well have just said "Git gud, n00b!" It certainly would have saved you a lot of time. The other thing that encouraged me to never give them one more cent of my money or second of my time is what you are demonstrating here and now: Condescending, thinly-veiled contempt for the player base. The first thing that caused me to stop playing that game was the exact same thing: The developers included a new feature which EVERYONE hated, but they responded, not just by expanding it, but by exaggerating the very things that we had warned them were causing problems. Do it repeatedly and you remove all doubt that it's being done on purpose.īefore I gave Idle Champions a chance, my idle of choice was Dungeon Crusher. And the response from "the developers" was to do it again.ĭo something that hurts the game once, and I'll give you the benefit of a doubt that maybe you just weren't thinking. The exact same thing happened with the event variants for Artemis and Morgaen I pointed out that one for the former was, at best, ill-conceived and unfair to all but the veteran players. ![]() Just a reminder: This is not the first time we have had this discussion. ![]() Which "the developers" evidently looked at and thought "Hm, he beat it? I guess that boss wasn't B.S. I am starting to suspect that my real mistake was describing how I managed to defeat the "Lost Love" boss in one of the two variants. Either you have a much bigger hand in this than being "community manager" as was said in the first statement, or you just took credit for something you didn't do by describing what "WE" did in the second statement.īut either way, you missed my big point, which was that we described something as broken and ill-conceived, and, based on that feedback, IT WAS DONE AGAIN!!! Because these statements are contradictory. > Second, we put an icon in the buff area on that boss fight, telling you how to keep your Champions alive, by looking at their Stats. I will pass your feedback along to the developers. > First I'd like to point out that I'm just the community manager for the game, not the one who designs the adventures. > Terastas: Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Once he's close enough and his shield has come down, then you'll want to switch to a more DPS focused formation to finish him off.Īlso, while spending money on the game may make things a little quicker as far as gear levels go, you can get a lot of power just by grinding the Favor, Gems and Patron currency to get the Blessings and helpful items like potions and blacksmithing contracts. ![]() You'll want to avoid casting any Champion ultimates that have push back, keeping Manshoon away from your formation. The first one with Tanks and Healers to keep your Champions alive until Manshoon is close enough to your formation for Aurinax to breath fire on him. You'll want to have a couple of formations for that boss area. Second, we put an icon in the buff area on that boss fight, telling you how to keep your Champions alive, by looking at their Stats. Terastas: Thank you for sharing your thoughts.įirst I'd like to point out that I'm just the community manager for the game, not the one who designs the adventures. ![]()
